In Gallup Park, rent a canoe, kayak, or rowboat and float on the Huron River. Bring a picnic and a fishing pole to the Dexter-Huron Metropark – a heavily wooded park along the Huron River. Spend a peaceful afternoon wandering through the Matthaei Botanical Gardens and Nichols Arboretum. Drive out of town to visit the many nearby Michigan wineries and enjoy an afternoon of wine tasting.
