Unique Experiences at the Baxter House Bed and Breakfast
Cool City
Kerrytown Village is just a short walk from the inn and is known for its eclectic shops, art galleries, theatres, and restaurants. Some favorites include the Farmers Market and the walking trail along the river.
Named after County Kerry, Ireland, Kerrytown was part of the original village of Ann Arbor. Converted into markets and shops in the late 1960s, these historically old buildings have been meticulously maintained to preserve the timeless appeal of their brick and exposed beams.
Not to be missed is Zingermans Grocery/Deli. The original store has grown to encompass a cafe and bakery next door. Here you will find fresh flowers, freshly baked European-style bread, pasta from around the globe, and artisan olives, sausages, deli meats, and cheeses.
