Historic Charm and Water Views

The Rosemont Inn, steeped in 121 years of history, stands as the oldest resort property in the charming Saugatuck/Douglas region of Southwest Michigan. Nestled along the picturesque Lake Michigan shoreline, this hidden gem offers stunning water views from its doorstep. Imagine waking up to the gentle lapping of waves and the allure of a bygone era.

Originally established by the Bryan family, the inn began as a peach orchard on a sprawling 40-acre farm. When blight struck the area, the orchard transformed, and the Bryans welcomed seasonal guests. Over time, the Rose Mont (as it was known then) flourished, serving meals to visitors in its cozy kitchen and dining area. Generations later, the property changed hands, underwent renovations, and emerged as the Rosemont Inn Resort we know today.

Each of the 14 individually appointed rooms exudes historic charm, complete with fireplaces and private bathrooms. A full buffet breakfast awaits guests each morning, featuring local produce and pastries. And just across the street lies Douglas Beach, inviting you to explore the pristine waters of Lake Michigan.
