The mansion sits on three acres of beautifully manicured gardens.
Innkeepers Diane and Steve are both Master Gardeners through Michigan State University. Food Experience at Greenleaf
Your innkeeper Diane is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu and has studied culinary arts in France and Italy. Diane’s specialties include Blueberry Waffles, a delicious homemade dill bread paired with salami, provolone cheese, garlic aioli, Eggs Benedict, Spinach, Ham, and Dill Curd Quiche- are you hungry yet?
Diane's breakfast uses the freshest ingredients from their organic gardens. Enjoy freshly baked pastries and fresh fruit, such as raspberries and blackberries with plenty of fresh herbs, tomatoes, and peppers for her farm-to-table omelets. Their bountiful land also consists of an orchard with apple and peach trees.
The property includes a beautiful back deck to curl up with a good book and convene with nature. Old-fashioned bright red geraniums surround you to relax and enjoy the scenery. Alfresco dining is also available in this area during the warmer months.

The gazebo offers a perfect backdrop and can be decorated with fresh flowers.
Everything at Greenleaf speaks to romance. The lavish rooms and tranquil gardens all create the perfect ingredient for a wedding night, honeymoon, anniversary, or special occasion celebration.
The historic charm of the Greenleaf Mansion takes you back to Greenleaf’s homage, given its origin as a farmhouse built by its namesake, Charles Greenleaf. Diane and Steve purchased the property in 2004. They spent 15 years completing the many renovations that include period details such as ash wood floors with dowel pegs, Tiffany light fixtures, and antique furniture that they have collected to reflect life in the 1870s.
