Adventure
The Grand Rapids area offers an array of ways to work off the great breakfast we’ll serve you at PrairieSide Suites Luxury B&B.
Hiking or biking: Feeling VERY adventurous? Head north on part of the 92.6-mile Fred Meijer White Pine Trail, the state’s second longest rail-trail. Kent Trails is a 15-mile non-motorized system winding through several Kent County towns. It also links to the Fred Meijer Standale Trail and the Fred Meijer Millennium Trail.
Get out on the water: The Grand Lady and the Holland Princess Riverboat offer popular excursions in season. Beginners and experienced paddlers who don’t bring their own canoes or kayaks frequent GR Paddling to explore up to 20 different segments of five rivers and five lakes. And GR Paddling will pick you up and drop you off right at the B&B.
