| Cass County is where you’ll find the town of Jones, Michigan. Our territorial governor, Lewis Cass, is who the town is named for. He later became the secretary of war, secretary of state, and U.S. governor. Let’s go find accommodations at one of our enchanting inns, put on our walking shoes, and get an overview of all the exciting things to do during our stay. Here is the Studebaker National Museum, where we can learn more about Jones, like the fact that it was once a stop on the Historical RRHX Railroad line. Now we stroll through the Binder Park Zoo, the Shipshewana Flea Market, the College Football Hall of Fame, and the Amish Settlements welcoming the public. We’ll enjoy a lovely dinner at one of the area’s fine restaurants, and then wind down at the Bed and Breakfast. Tomorrow the adventurer will come out in us, as we try canoeing, swimming, bicycling, or chartering a boat. In the wintertime, we can ski, or go ice skating or tobogganing. How’s that for action? Specialty shops, antique shops, wineries, auctions, nature centers. The list of activities waiting for you at Jones, Michigan is never ending! |
